I'm ridiculously proud of Finn's hearing dog "diploma"; I'd never show it for
access (have oddly never been asked!) but I've it all the same :)

Hello Everyone,
First let me explain how the dog numbering system shook out for our group.
Firstly, to honour those Owner Trained dogs that have gone before, Zero to
One Thousand have been put in reserve.
So the numbers for our current crop of dogs begins at One thousand and One.
Each sequence begins with a gender designator. M for males and F for females.
So as to avoid having to keep track of multiple numbers for the same dog
other designators will be employed, A: Apprentice, C: Career Changed, R:
Retired, D: Deceased Will be placed after the gender designator and before
the actual number. The A may be dropped from the sequence when the Owner
Trainer decides that the pup is finished Advanced Harness training.. The C, R
and D designators will be used as required. The checklist from Rupp's
Standards can help an Owner Trainer decide objectively if a dog is ready for
mainline service.For Example:
Jewel's pup Guideon. If he was still in training he would have
MA1001, but when Jewel decided that Guideon has finished advanced harness
training his number became M1001.
So here is the list of dogs and their numbers as close as I can figure.

Leni Scace, my wife, and I were acting as the primary Puppy Raisers/Trainers
for Storm.
With help and input from Tom until Storm went home for good. Storm is now on
"Active Duty".
