Hi,To start with a more meaningful comparison with present uses of products, it may first be better to do a comparison between camera-based scanning/OCR and traditional or 'flatbed' scanning/OCR. It may not be easy to have three camera-based solutions on hand at the one time, given the use of proprietary solutions (by pearl at least), although that can be attempted later on, once the above comparison has been made and grounds for further investigation have therefore been established.

Hi Brian, I do not have a problem with this and can appreciate your situation. As for what I liked reviewed, a comparison of tvarious camera scanning solutions would be nice. These solutions would include the iPal, The Pearl and the Clear Reader. We are extremely sorry about this. It is due to acombination of factors. The greatest problem is time to produce it. We just don't have the timeright now to get it done due to very heavy work commitments, most of which take us away from the office. The other two problems are some products not being made available to us for review and also I have to say contributions which we were promised and those promises not beinghonoured. I personally believe that we should be honest with you at thispoint and let you know what is happening. So what we propose is that there should be a magazine during Decemberwhich will be longer than the standard length you would usually receive. We have some product reviews which we can do, including the iPhone and associated applications which people have been asking for. If there isanything in particular you would like us to review, please do not hesitate to suggest it. I know a tour of Windows7 is also something people would like to hear.Again, our sincere apologies for this and lets hope the December editionmakes up for the lack of a magazine during the last quarter. If you have any questions, please do let me know.
