Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 hrs, varied
(occ eve/weekends)

JOB SUMMARY
Plans, oversees installs and maintains IT technology for Sun Sounds state
wide.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
40% - Supports end users
25% - Supports network
20% - Plans and documents IT systems
15% - Purchases and installs hardware and software
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with the purchase, installation, operation, and maintenance
of
computer equipment; personal computers, workstations, and local area
networks
- Experience with network operating systems; data base, word processing,
and
telecommunications
- Demonstrated record-keeping ability
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Must provide cover letter and resume with MCCCD Application
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience with adaptive software and hardware for people with
disabilities, particularly visually impaired people
- Experience with digital automation/audio production in a broadcast
environment
- 3 years experience providing end-user support and network operations
- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering or related field
SPECIAL WORKING CONDITIONS
This position will be on call 24/7 and may be required to work occasional
evenings or weekend hours. This position must be able and willing to
travel
throughout Arizona on a regular or routine basis, as well as make
emergency
trips to Sun Sounds affiliate facilities. May require lifting up to 50
lbs.
