The ADA was created to ensure that people with disabilities could access the services to which allAmericans are entitled. While the ADA has changed the American landscape, many of its promises have not been kept. The Supreme Court has chipped awayat many of the employment protections that Congress meant the ADA toprovide, and too many public services are still inaccessible.
