Obviously, if you know anyone else who could fill the bill, don't hesitate to share. Thanks. The position is a Human Resources Specialist (Disability Program) within the Disability Program Office of the US Census Bureau - located adjacent to the Suitland Metro Station in Suitland, MD. We have a very comprehensive program, so this is a great opportunity for someone looking to be exposed to all facets of a federal disability employment. I would like to fill the position via Schedule A at the GS-12 level - currently, the full performance level of the position. However, the position may be filled as a GS-11 or possibly GS-9. With the above in mind, to be minimally qualified, the incumbent must: - have one year of specialized work experience equivalent to the GS-7 level; or - have successfully completed two (2) years of graduate education leading to a Master's degree; or - have obtained a Master's Degree, in a directly related field; and - must be eligible to be hired via Schedule A. (www.opm.gov/disability) The candidate most likely to be the best fit for this opportunity will have a strong understanding of the Rehabilitation Act - Sections 501, 504, and 508. Experience processing requests for reasonable accommodation a plus. If you believe you are a strong candidate or think you may know someone who is a great fit, please contact me via e-mail asap. If I am unable to quickly fill the position via Schedule A, it will be opened to all sources on www.usajobs.com in December.
