Dear Info-share Listers: There is also a problem with the monthly reduced-fare Easypay metrocard. 1. It is not always possible to access the account balance without help. I was under the impression we could do this independently. Some times I can, by selecting menu choice 1, at other times, this choice does not work, and I am told to go to a website. 1. In order to speak to an agent, I have, at times hadno problem, but recently, I had to wait 35 minutes on "hold". I was under the impression that I could call in each monthly payment, but I found out that Easypay has our creditcard on file. I would prefer to call the payment in, and would prefer that no one has my creditcard number on file. I do not like automatic, and wish to call payments in, so that only I have the card number I called the mayor's office for people with disabilities, but to no avail.
