Hi, Gang. today's tip is straight from me. What's in a Name? Ever need or want to rename a file? Here's how. 1. Highlight the file. do not open it. I know that will be a strong temptation. 2. Press Function Key F2. this places your cursor in an edit field. 3. Move to the period in the file and press Shift-Home. that will highlight the the filename but not the three-letter file extension. It is very important that you leave that in tact so that the file can open in the correct application. 4. Type the new name and press Enter. If you prefer to delete the filename character by character, that's fine, too. As always, Info is power Lynne
