[Ilugc] xmms error(gtv, naotun)

hi,

       can anybody tell what does this error mean.

1.         when i load songs into XMMS player, it doesn't play but give
this error.
           " arts_init error: can't connect to aRts soundserver  "

       i am not able to play songs either with "GTV" or KDE MEDIA PLAYER
as well.

2.     when i load songs into GTV, it gives the following error.

           "gtv: No available audio device
           Fatal signal: Segmentation Fault (SDL Parachute Deployed) "

3.       In case of KDE MEDIA PLAYER or NOATUN,
           i am not able to launch the player itself and it gives the
following error....

           Xlib:  extension "RENDER" missing on display ":0.0".
           Launched ok, pid = 26492
           KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
           KCrash: Application Name = noatun path = <unknown>
           Xlib:  extension "RENDER" missing on display ":0.0".

           [2]+  Exit 253                noatun

           Is there a common problem, since not even one player is able
to play any song.
