Can anyone plz tell where i can find the User
structure of current process (in which path) in linux
...like where is the user structure delared....so that
i can ref members like
Looks like ur trying to correlate traditional unix kernel with linux
kernel architecture. Traditional unix has uarea and proc as separate
entities. Linux doesn't. In linux both the uarea and proc are clubbed
together in the task_struct structure. Instead of u.field, u can access
the fields of interest as current->field. This is different from the
"CURRENT" macro in block device driver code. Now dont ask me where the
pregion and address space structures are! Just follow ur instincts while u
browse the code and have some linux kernel book handy.
