You can use webmin. It is great. I've been using it for over 3 years now.
However, it still does not take away the fact that you need to know what you
are doing. If not, even with the GUI, you can land up with a wrong/bad
configuration. Further, if you learn how to tune sendmail.mc, you could use
options not available in webmin e.g. smtp authentication.
