As mentioned Yahoo! POP services are no longer free. Yahoo! SMTP services by
extension I guess are also not free. So, for receiving your emails via
whatever MUA you could try fetchyahoo instead of fetchmail and use the SMTP
server provided by your ISP if you can't run your own MTA.

I'm not familiar with kmail, but if it is one of those MUAs which does not
use the *nix mailbox format a la Netscape, whatever I've said may not be of
too much help.
