You'll have to grant permissions to the appropriate user for
accessing/updating the database. Refer to MySQL documentation for the
syntax of GRANT command.
mysql> grant select,insert,delete,update on db.* to user@localhost
identified by 'passwd';
Also, you should try posting MySQL related questions in the MySQL
mailing list and not here. Believe me, it will help.
