If you want security now and in future, it's best to stick with distro
provided apps and packages. ?Staying within distro packages means
that there is official support for bug fixes, and any updates are a simple

testing that distros put together.

After all isn't this why you are paying Red Hat?
I've used djbdns, etc briefly, but never saw the appeal. ?I run bind9 on
CentOS today without any issues. ?bind is the defacto DNS server out
there, it's widely available on several unix platforms, it's well supported,
and exceptionally well documented.
RHEL 5 supports bind9. ?I suggest you try it before you switch.
