hello all,

I am posting this mail not just as an ilugc member but also in the capacity of
the general secretary of the Association Of Computer Engineers of Sri
venkateshwara College Of Engineering, Sriperumbudur.As part of the yearly
activities of the association , it is customary to organize guest lectures on
topics of technical intererst to computer engineers.Being a guest lecture and
keeping in mind the time constraint( about an hour or so ) ,i would like to
make an open request to experienced proffessionals who are members of ilugc to
deliver one of such guest lectures at the college premises. I hate to sound
picky , but there are a few things that should be kept in mind

the lec-dem is definitely technical , but not overly so ,so that it caters
to the average student.

It would be wonderful , if the speaker could also mention of opportunities
in the area , as well as projects that are being implemented etc. so as to
serve as an inspiration to the young proffessionals.This is especially
important as, most of these 3rd year engineers are still groping in the dark
regarding their future.

S.V.C.E is one of the leading engineering colleges in the city , and its
C.S.E department has loads of talent ,therefore , the speaker is guaranteed
an intelligent, attentive audience

The lec-dem will be held sometime next week , so it will be great if someone
can come forward and meet this great opportunity to interact with students
on a one-to-one basis , and respond to this mail along with a few necessary
details etc. like what the lecture will be about , and when you can be free
to deliver it etc. to my personal e-mail i.d.

Lot's of leading members from the industry have spoken at the college and i
thought that the moment is right to infuse a more pragmatic approach to this
entire lec-dem approach by calling someone who actually codes and the students
might be able to relate to.I hope that , a few of you will defintely come
forward and avail of this opportunity to deliver a lecture at S.V.C.E
