Hi,
I tried plugging in one usb smartcard reader and
hotplug first loaded the kernel module and also called
the startup script without any hitches. I then plugged
in the second device (usb smartcard reader). since the
same driver supports multiple device instances, the
driver successfully enumerated and created a new entry
in /proc/devices. since the module is already loaded,
the corresponding script in hotplug is not getting
called. i have written the script to create an entry
in /dev directory for my reader. is there anyway to
achieve this without modifying the souce in the
hotplug.functions script?
