i am totally new to linux... and yes, i find it =
interesting(thats what am supposed to say, right!)... but looks like =
i've run into a rough patch... can someone tell me how to configure my =
soundcard and my modem(intnl) for linux...=20
my soundcard is creative blaster vibra 128, and my =
modem(internal) is a ace 56.6kbps... i tried downloading the drivers for =
these, but looks like the product vendors don't have the drivers for =
linux... i installed mandrake linux 8.2, and it detected my soundcard as =
Ensonique*****.... and didn't detect my modem at all... any amount of =
meddling in the control centre also didn't pay off...=20
are there any sites where i can download these stuff or anyother =
way by which i can install these devices... and how to go about =
installing these drivers if i get them... i wud be very happy if someone =
can help me out...
to add a few words about me... am doing my mca @ mcc, chennai...
