On examining our server, I found /var/log/apache/error.log belonged to
the group "adm".
What does that group refer to.
Suppose if the scrips (PHP, ..) want write access to certain location,
to which group-id should I chgrp that location? Is it "adm"
I never see groups "apache" and "httpd" in /etc/group
That doesnt sound like your server is linux at all - is it solaris?
It's Debian GNU/Linux (stable).
