they want associate their name with the event in someway or other.

that be a problem? -- accepting funds from industry. If not, We
need to
find out way to accommodate industry sponsors.

Why don't collabnet set up stall for apache and other products and be
part of the volunteers. I don't think any thing wrong with that.
Will others voice their opinion about it to decide.
