[Ilugc] doubt in dd

Hmm... Which video format is that? I thought they all had pretty
crucial information at the beginning of the video file that you can't
just dd a bit off the middle and hope to get a snippet of the video.

You are right. You need to cut at a frame boundary. But mplayer had no trouble 
playing it. 

I actually abandoned the project. But I just wanted to point out that dd is 
quite upto the task doing a better job than split.

It was an mpeg video dumped from my TV card.
