Definitely. And never ever do the mistake I did: I used to keep my box
open so that I can touch the CPU cooler (with my bare hands) often to
see if its heating up. What happened what that the static from my
hands (probably) spoilt my CPU. One wonderful AMD K6 is dead, because
of my stupidity :( lmsensors is the way to go!
