[Ilugc] apache 1.3.29 with lamp

simplest thing is to remove the rpms and install the
1.3.x rpms (apache,
mod_perl, mod_php etc)
configuration files shouldnt need too much change
i just removed the directory httpd(in case of apache
2.0) from /etc/httpd/ and i used
apache_1.3.29.tar.gz and i installed it in
/etc/apache and i have the configuration files in the
/etc/apache/conf/
but when i try to start appace it looks for the conf
files in
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
following is the error i get ..
]# /sbin/service httpd start
Starting httpd: grep: /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: No
such file or directory
httpd: could not open document config file
/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf
[FAILED]
if i go for rpm files should i download( mod_perl,
mod-php) rmps also..?
how to solve this problem,,?
