FIPS 2.0 (
http://www.igd.fhg.de/~aschaefe/fips/) should help.
There's also GNU Parted (
http://www.gnu.org/software/parted/parted.html) to
do this.
NOTE: None of these tools are *guaranteed* against data loss.
However, I've used FIPS before without losing any data.
