Our political system / attitude of many authoritative ppl in the govt
has been such that no matter how good/bad something is, they always try
and keep things without any change. It is infact something good that we
should appreciate Mr.Pramod for his effort, but people suspect this
could just be an attempt to initiate 'under-the-bench' transactions
between proprietary software companies and the ministers.
I guess, our govt decided to embrace GNU/Linux because it heard from all
around that it is 'free of cost'. Bad that most of us didn't talk of
GNU/linux as the freedom software, we would repent if the Indian govt
drops the idea of using GNU/Linux on the reason that their _current_
softwares are given free of cost to them.
