Hi Sridhar
Hathway has similar plan which looks like somewhat
lesser than sify. I am currently using the plan chalked
out below.
o 1 Gig d/l limit
o 24/7 net access
o 1 free 10 MB mailbox ( @ hathway.com )
o 128 kbps
o Initial deposit of Rs.2500 + other costs.
o Rs.1500 pm
o Webstar cable modem ( max 10 Mbps )
I'm enjoying the guaranteed speed and their 24/7
customer support is so far so good.
Do someone see bandwidth difference in linux -n- windows
when it comes to cable internet ? I saw another mail
thread talking about unlimited usage. Do we have any
such concept for soho broadband internet users in chennai ?
Thanks,
Gan.

Subject: [Ilugc] Sify broadband - total waste
Looking at the customer ramblings at
http://sifybroadband.techwhack.com/
I think it's not going to be of any use with latest sify broadband offers.
