hotmail does not provide a standard pop/imap for its free users. So
you cannot read your hotmail mails from evolution. It has a 'webdav'
feature by which outlook express users can get the file. There WAS a
project called 'gotmail' that fetches the mail (through webDAV?) and
delivers it to your MTA. I'm not sure what is the status of this
project at this moment, though I see that the 'gotmail' package on
debian is pretty recent.
