Hi,
I tried to install RedHat Linux 7.1 and the installation was successful. But
unable to start and login the computer.
When I start the computer, all the startup message comes and I see the
following,
Red Hat Linux... (sea wolf)
...
"Login : "
this screen blinks every second and doesen't stops. But inbetween this
second i tried to login and succeeded. And basic commands are working(But
all inside that blinking gap).
Why that graphical login screen is not coming? And how to stop that
blinking?
Computer Configuration
Pentium MMX 233 Mhz
Ram 96 MB
Dual boot with Windows 98 - Hard disk 5 GB
boot partition - 150 MB
root partition - 2.5 GB
swap partition - 200 MB
I selected GNOME in package installation.
This is the first time I am trying and I don't have knowledge in
OS/Hardware/Linux. With tips from my friends I did upto this stage and
unable to proceed further.
