[Ilugc] Problem with bootsplash!

I downloaded bootsplash kernel patch [bootsplash version 3.1.3 (against 
Linux 2.6.0-test9)] from bootsplash.org. I applied the patch to my 
kernel source 2.6.4 on Debian Sarge. But the patch didn't applied 
properly (Hunk #1 failed). Did anyone tried bootsplash for kernel 2.6.x?
