Subject: Problem with Typing in Tamil - Linux Mint 18.3
To: Free Software Foundation <mailinglist@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi,
I have been using Linux Mint for the past 5 months. Previously, I was
using Ubuntu 16.04 and could easily set up Tamil typing using the
instructions here[1]. But in Linux Mint, I followed the same instructions
and cannot Tamil Phonetic typing using ibus-m17n. Currently, I am using
this[2] service to type in Tamil. If someone faces the same issue and found
a solution, please help. It would cut off the complexity for me, in which I
am using now. It is ok, even if there are some alternate solutions.
Thanks
