Pray how you figured google is NON-EVIL? (and why CAPS ON?)
This article might be a good eye-opener:

The proposal would offer individuals large e-mail storage in exchange
for the ability to scan all private emails in order to insert ads that
might be related to the ongoing personal discussions.

Google claims that computerized scanning of e-mails is nothing new
because its service performs some essential function as antivirus and
anti-spam software, which has to scan e-mail text regularly. No
employee of the company actually reads the e-mail while doing so.

Given the fact that gmail wants to read your mails (or atleast it
intended to read your mails at some point of time before this privacy
issue came up), i would certainly not look at it as an anti-spam
measure. Infact they would be spamming me! (ok, its not "spam". its
"ADs". Whatever, I wouldn't be comfortable with an AD on body-part
enhancement when I'm writing a mail to Dr.Mathrubhootham)

Really? How is it a "fact" that google wont deviate frm its published
algorithm? I dont want to sound harsh, I cannot help though: Do you
even know if its algorithm hasn't changed / has changed since two
months?

Thats exactly my point. Google certainly does some cool technology.
Its not logical to assume that google is NON-EVIL because its doing
cool-technology. GMail certainly does not sound NON-EVIL to me.
