i switched over to the gnu-linux platform only a coupla months
back... now i want to go in for some new extra stuff for my comp...ie... a
cd-writer and a printer...but i have my doubts of whether these devices do
function as well as they do in windoze... or do i get a set of drivers from
the manufacturer, so that i dont have to run around in the net to download
and... it wud be nice if someone who is already using these(most of
u) can let me into the intricacies of the trade, just tell me what i shud
look for... btw, how about the samsung and sony cd-writers, do they come
along with drivers for linux, or shud we hunt them down...
and what other feature shud i look out for, comparing cost wise,
most of them seem to differ only by a marginal sum... so tis the
"linuxability" of the devices that am looking for...
