This is not related to Linux, but i need your help.
For our school , we need few wire-less sets.
we needed it for the following purpose
1) During school functions , to communicate between working team. [
around 100 major events/ celebrations / functions in a year ]
2) During Trekking at Yercaud hills, to communicate between different
groups of our trekking students. [ 700 to 900 students ]
3) During 10 K.M road race
4) During School Science Exhibition
5) During School Sports Day
6) During Mega Cultural Event
7) Any other type of communication in side the campus. [ eventhough we
have intercom fecilities ]
we have licensed Antena , erected for HAM Radio club for a fixed set [
we do not have any working wireless handset ]
1) we need atleast 10 sets
2) it can have one to many, many to one , many to many options.
3) The range should not be less than 500 m.
more over, if it is one way only [ ie, one to many ] , is it possibe to
use any simple FM receiver ? if so, HOW ?
i think Motorolo is having a costly solution [ Rs. 8000 /- and Rs. 4000 /- ]
