To SREC:
Most people are ignorant. They don't have the exposure
to the outside world. What you need to do is
collaborate with our GLUGS (nearby or far) and bring
in people to talk about what they have been doing, and
how it has been beneficial to them.
At Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, few colleges
had come from Coimbatore for the workshop. So, why
weren't you aware of it? This link was updated long

Arvind Kalyan was at Coimbatore for the past one
month? You could have contacted him or atleast asked
in the mailing list? This is the real problem.
Ignorance. Unless we learn to "network" and "ask", it
will be very difficult to get contacts or learn and do
so something productive. Remember, contacts are very,
very important in the industry.
I am sure you can definitely bring in folks from KEC,
Erode or other nearbly GLUGS to address your college.
