I tried your suggestions. The mozilla did not work. What is the meaning of
the following error mesage? Will it be alright if I remove and reinstall
mozilla?

I had the same problem earlier and what i did is
-- in the directory /usr/lib/mozilla-1.0.1 run the
program ./run-mozilla.sh and accept the default
profile
-- Then try your mozilla browser.
It worked for me
