Sorry for the delayed posting
The meet was attended by about 9 people.
Decisions:
1.Raja will get written confirmation of date within a day or two.
It will be 99.99% on Jul 10 and 11th. Next week few of us will
visit to have a look at the place.
2.After this letters will be mailed to city colleges/schools
-By Raman.
3.emails will be sent to al IT companies - Address to be provided
by Praven and mail to be sent by Raman
4.Among the people who attended there are only 7 systems and
one projector. we need more.
5.If some one can arrange for Monitors alone we could get another
3 or four systems
6. Roles assigned sofar are
1. Shaki will handle CD-buring and selling business. However,
he is very keen on demoing tech stuff. If someone else
volunteers for CD's he will move to tech side
2. Sridhar will handle Programming. Of course he needs more
people
3. Shiv will look after anything and everything on projector
4. Vijay will show educational tools. He too needs one more
person.
5.Senthil will look after samba and related stuff.
6. Raja will show diskless nodes which is based on ramdisk
unlike ltsp.
7. What we need:
1. Volunteers for other topics like Office, gimp, network etc.
2. volunteers for tamil and localisation to assist ever busy

3. Volunteer Install experts for installing on visitors system
4. In short we need atleast 15 volunteers more.
5. Additional systems and monitors alone.
8. Funds: Exact funds position is not known as Bharati could not
attend. However, we will be requiring in toto about
Rs.5000/- in all. Who ever is willing to donate please
pass it on to Bharati. There is no minimum amount,
and obviously no maximum also.
9.Updation of website.
Whoever is willing to participate in the festival please confirm
early with likely role they can take.
