I've done that to the current archive. However there are two more
issues. From the archives page you can get all the email addresses
via the full archive download link (this is an mbox file).
Alternatively, you can get it from the downloadable text version.
Currently mailman does not put obscured email addresses here.
I'm not sure that spam bots download every file on the internet to
harvest addresses. That way they'd eventually have to download
everything! It also appears that other mailing lists do the same
thing (i.e. leave the text downloads with unobscured email addresses).
The only way to clean the text archives also is to run a cron job that
fixes them with the perl script. I'm not sure this is worth it.
