I admit that a spammer has no chance with the yahoo approach but if we
were to replace:
joe_user@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx with joe_user at some.domain.com
I think we get a reasonable compromise where a reader can figure out
the mail address and yet automated spam bots will have difficulty
getting the address.
What do you folks think?
Agree. This is indeed pretty acceptable. The incidence of
`x at y' is high enough for harvesters to get a sufficient
amount of noise with their `harvest'. Although if I was
writing a harvester (god forbid) I'd look for `w at x.y.z' :).
