if you have madrake cd then boot using that into rescue mode, and run lilo.
else
if you have knoppix, boot into knoppix.
mount linux filesystem.
chroot to it, and run lilo.
reboot.

I had WIN ME along with Mandrake 10.
The partitions in WIN ME were C and D.
Recently I deleted D drive using fdisk.
Consequently linux can not be booted using LILO but Windows boots normally.
I have important files in MDK 10 which have not been backed up.
Please help me in preparing a boot disk and subsequent configuring of LILO.
