Well, one can argue that nobody said linux has to be the operating system
for a software to be free software. So what is the point of imposing strict
linux usage?
But the whole point of free software is to break free from proprietary
platforms/softwares, if they don't recognise this, then doing evenglism for
free software is of no use.
If the speaker dont know how to use linux, then it is the first task
to teach her/him to use linux. We should live what we speak.
Even the Linux foundation don't use linux (

they don't give a shit about FOSS nowadays, then what is the point in
asking innocent people to learn linux?
Don't get surprised if FSF don't give a shit about FOSS too, because these
are the same people who forced RMS to resign from FSF. It may be just
another non profit organization with corporate craps in their board.
Linux changed my life.
It did some wonders in lot of people's life, count me also as one of them.
