was jus learning how to compile the kernel on Fedora
Core 1 when the following error occured on running
make bzImage

I did the following:
1. make mrproper
2. make xconfig
3.make dep
4.make clean
5.make bzImage
I compiled the already existing kernel on my FC1
system.
any ideas what went wrong?

Dear all,
i am using RH 9. anothe parti with win xp on an intel 845GL
kindly help me in the following
1)how to login as root automatically ? Where to write the script ?[ control
center - login manager fails for me ]
2) system should mount 4 vfat's automatically after logging in as root,
where to add the scripts ? [ at present i am doing it using terminals , one
by one ]
3) my intel 845gl continue to work in low resolution, is there any
improvement on the driver ? [ it has recognized as : type = intel 845,
driver - i810 ]
