Hi!
I am looking for a good ISP. Right now with VSNL
dial-up, but, wanting to move to cable. Problem is
hathway doesn't provide services in Gopalapuram, only
Dishnet DSL.
DSL said they will provide a modem that does not have
an ethernet port. How lame is that? You can't even
connect that to a router. It has to be directly
connected to USB. of a windoze machine. Atleast if it
had ethernet port I can connect it directly to
Linux/Unix machine with rp-pppoe client. Heard that
Tata is going to take over Dishnet soon, after a
month. Not sure if they can bring any positive moves.
I am still looking for other options,
