hi,
Am working on regional language printing support in Linux.
While searching thru Google for earlier work on this, I fortunately =
ended up in the below link of IITM
http://www.tenet.res.in/Donlab/Indlinux/printer.html
But the problem is the libind and the iscii2ps applications, provided in =
this site do not work for me. The iscii2ps function fails in the =
indian_init function that is found in the iscii2ps.c file of iscii2ps =
source. While parsing thru the code and if Iam correct, I found that =
this function is being passed with different arguments but the function =
is defined in different way in the libind library.
I would like to have the correct source of the libind library (If any =
one of you have, as the base work has been done by RECT, IITK&M) or =
kindly do provide some document that explains the algorithm behind which =
the iscii code is converted to ttf code. Or to be more precise I would =
like to know what is the data that needs to be passed on to the font =
variable that is declared in the struct tabl in the indian.h include =
file.
While parsing thru the code I found some comments with signature =
Bharathi and i believe few mails comes to this group from Bharathi of =
IITM . If you are the same person who worked on the libind code, kindly =
help me to find solution for this.
With Regards,
Ganesh. S.
