[Ilugc] IP Address issue

Hello,
I work when i reboot my system.

This the contents of the file "/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0":

# Intel Corp.|82557/8/9 [Ethernet Pro 100]
DEVICE=eth0
BOOTPROTO=none
ONBOOT=yes
IPADDR=172.16.1.192
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=172.16.1.0
GATEWAY=172.16.1.10

 I don't know how the problem is solved. But now it is working fine.

I am using the static IP Address and below is the eth0 configurations:

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

can you do this ?
it should be BOOTPROTO=static or dhcp


ONBOOT=yes
IPADDR=172.16.1.192
NETMASK=255.255.255.0
NETWORK=172.16.1.0
GATEWAY=172.16.1.10

Can u able to debug the problem with this.

At First I have thought the ip address may be already in use, but I
have checked the ipaddress also. there is no such ip address exist
in the network. I have also tried by giving new IPaddress but even
though the problem persists.

can you cat the ifcfg-eth0 file and also check if your dhcp server has
a private lease for the address concerned ?
