Hi all,
    Thanx for the efforts.
 
    But, What I want is, to read the text file as a whole into a single 
variable declared
in Makefile. The internal seperator does not matter.

Ex:
   The text file is : txt1.txt and contains,
                        
                      RegInfo.txt:RegError.jsp:
   I want to read the entire file into a variable in the Makefile something
   like this,

   TXTFILE < txt1.txt ( Iyo i'm not getting the syntax )
