Hi!!
I have a problem wherein the X server does not seem to load although the
same was working sometime for nearly 2 months.
When I give startx, it starts up but throws an error with the CUI coming
back
When I give xinit, the x server starts with minimal outpt with a term
view.Here when we try opening GUI based applications like gedit or gnotepad,
it seems to open up, but the panes at the bottom are missing.
The GUI .profile for Gnome is fine and does not seem to have a problem
The system is having Linux RH ver 7.2 with 256 MB RAM and 40 GB HDD
Can any of u suggest a remedy...
