Dear all,
When I use Mozilla Firefox (in Ubuntu 16.0), it is randomly crashing at
inopportune moments, crashing my other open applications open at the time,
be it kile or Libreoffice writter.
(I searched from google. I could not find what is the reason also.)

What is the firefox version you are using?
Try using a latest version.
2.
Is there any graphics card?
Install driver for it.
