[Ilugc] Debian's new installer

slackware installed without a single hitch .. and except for a brief
flirt or two with deadrat and suse i haven't used anything else for
quite some time
I used slackware for a long time - but pkgtool doesn't support
dependancies (has that been fixed now?), so you're dead in the
water when you try to install/upgrade/backtrack etc.
Moi - I swear by deadrat. It's delicious. You should try it
sometime again. I just did my first SuSE installation (8.2) yesterday,
and it was nowhere near as smooth as a default RedHat 7.3 install.
SuSE does come with a larger number of packages, out of the box.
