[Ilugc] College Project & Fedora Request

Hi,

  Since this topic has got so much attention.  I would
like some opinion on speed/memory overhead aspect of 
these scripting languages.  Especially from 
web based application point of view.

From what I have understoon.

Perl : With mod_perl can be pretty fast.
Php : Is also getting faster mostly because of Zend Engine
Python : I dunno much about it but my gut feeling it will be bit slower
than Perl and PHP
Ruby : I think it will also be bit slower than Perl and Php.
JSP: It can be really fast. If you want it to be faster than others
add more RAM to it :)(More memory overhead)

What you guys/girls think?

As does Python. The readability of the code depends on the person who 
write the code. Lots of our enterprise stuff moving most of our data 
around is written in perl. Please do not jump to conclusions based on 
popular opinions.
