Actually the contract with infosys expires this month and Canara Bank
does want to develop its own software with the help of its own officers
who are now adequately trained in Unix and Oracle. Canara bank is not
taking to its own development of software just for the benefit of cost
saving, but linux accepts all commands of unix and its officers are by
now well versed in Unix.
