I'm Abdun Nihaal. I'm a final year B.E. computer science student at St.
Joseph's college of engineering. I would like to give a talk on making a patch
to the Linux kernel.
Topic: Make your first Linux kernel patch
Description: I'll talk a little about how Linux kernel development works. Then
I'll go over the steps on how to send a patch that fixes coding style
errors(Checkpatch errors) and share my experience in doing the same.
Duration: 40 - 60 minutes
About myself: I am beginner in contributing to the Linux kernel. I recently
made my first Linux kernel patch, so I thought I'll share it with people at
ILUGC and hopefully help others get started on contributing to the Linux kernel.
