Hi all,
When i try to boot into linux (RH 7.0), the boot process goes on fine and the
login screen appears, but immediately after that the screen flashes and i get
the following error message:
"According to /var/run/gdm.pid, gdm is already running (773), but seems to have
been murdered mysteriously"
The same message gets repeated with the number in ()incresing. HELP!!!
I use a gnome desktop as default and boot into graphical user mode.

Subject: [Ilugc] T-Shirts Arrived

Hi Luggies,
The T-shirts have arrived in two huge boxes. If anybody can bring
a car(with lot of free space) I can bring it to IIT tommorrow.
MOST IMPORTANTLY the person who brings the car should be willing
to drop me back at my residence.
If yes then call me at this number 6190611 and confirm. I will
then send a mail to the list stating the time at which you can
collect your T-shirts.
If everybody don't turn up tommorrow it is not possible for me to
carry the boxes back to my house and moreover I can't leave them
around in the IIT campus even if somebody says I will take the
responsibility to distribute it. I am the one who took the money
from everyone and it's my responsibility to handover the T-shirts
to the respective people.
You can always collect it from my residence at your convenience. I
will properly categorise it and put a seperate bundle for each of
you.
